|The Cottage was rented out with 2 long term leases during the latter part of 2017 and early 2018 and is now returning to its use as a weekend end/weekly or monthly vacation rental home. It has been refurnished and redecorated and the current pictures reflect the decor you'll now find in the home :).

|My Girl Scout Junior Troop ranted both the Manor and the Carriage house for our trip in February. Properties were both beautiful and location was excellent. Fantastic trip! Thank you!!
|We are a group of 5 couples from various US locations that meet once a year in different cities. This year our reunion was held in Savannah and we stayed in the Taylor Estate so we had both the Manor and the Cottage! Both were perfect for exploring Savannah's historic district. During most of our visit, our cars remained parked and we could walk to most everything we wanted to do.
2 couples stayed in the cottage and 3 couples in the Manor House. We had most of our meals together in the Manor House but we enjoyed both courtyards...breezy with lots of flowers and the weather was wonderful. Both homes are well appointed, very comfortable, and have well equipped kitchens. Suzanne is very responsive to any questions or anything you may need.
Highlights of our trip included early morning walks around the historic district, visiting various churches, a walking tour of the squares with "Savannah Dan", a night at the Savannah Theater, and a tour of Fort Pulaski.
Needless to say, we had a wonderful time just being together in a lovely city and in a beautiful historic home.

|We chose the Taylor Estate as our home away from home for our daughter's wedding in Savannah. We rented both the manor and the carriage house which was perfect to have enough space for our family and the bridal party. We had an age range from 2 to 90 and did not need anything that was not available in the home.
The estate is so beautiful that we took pre-wedding photos in the manor. Parking was not a problem with the off street parking and extra spaces in the front.
Suzanne was helpful by recommending a local nail salon for those pre wedding manicures. We could not of had a better experience and the location is so convenient to downtown. We would definitely stay here again on future trips to Savannah.
|We stayed in the cottage for a few days in October. There were four in our party, two couples. There was plenty of room for our stay. Before renting I was concerned that the master bed room appeared to be a loft, and even though it is in fact a loft, there was plenty of privacy. The entire upstairs of the cottage is the master suite, the stairs are in the front of the house off of the living room. The cottage was beautifully decorated, with lots of personal touches. The kitchen was fully stocked for all of our cooking needs. The cottage is in a perfect location in the historic district. The cottage was all that we hoped it would be for our first stay in Savannah. We hope to be be able to visit again. Thank you Suzanne for being so welcoming and sharing your cottage with us.
|Fantastic! We rented the Estate and Cottage for my daughter's graduation in December 2014. The house was exactly as pictured and advertised with great character yet very comfortable. The original plans called for 11 however in the end only 9 attended however their was plenty of room for at least 11. The location was fantastic with off street parking as well as the ability to easily walk for groceries. The downtown location was fantastic with a variety of inexpensive options to easily get around the city. The owners are extremely organized, friendly and accomodating. They have the did an exceptional job in preparing us for the visit by answering questions, through their pre visit e-mails as well their book upon arrival, which we would have never thought of. Thank you very much for all of your help and hospitality in making a event very special! With any luck we will be back in the future! Frank Luke
| Our group of 15 girls and 4 adults stayed at the Taylor estate for 4 days. Renting this home made it possible for our group to completely enjoy our visit to Savannah. There was ample space for the girls to relax after a long day of seeing the sites. We were able to eat our meals at home (so to speak) which is more economical and convenient with a large group. We were able to walk to all areas of the historic district, saving time and expense for parking.
The home itself could not be more beautiful. It is full of antiques and the decor makes one feel like they are stepping into your grandmothers home with wall hangings, pictures and figurines everywhere. Each room has it's own special characteristics. Our girls will remember this place and the trip for life.
Suzanne is a wonderful lady and will provide for your smallest need. No need to search any futher than this property for a place to stay during your visit to Sevannah!

|We spent a wonderful weekend in Savannah with 6 couples. This was the perfect set-up for our needs. The Estate included use of the house and cottage. There was more than enough room and the estate was beautiful. Everything was very clean and had the classic Savannah charm. I would highly recommend staying here both for a big group getaway or for a weekend away for two. The owner is easy to work with, quick to respond and very accommodating. I have no hesitation is highly recommending this lodging.
|This was my second stay at the Taylor Cottage with my fiance and Mom. We had a wonderful time and love the quaint and quiet nature of this location. The Carriage House is located in the Historic District and is within walking distance of many of Savannah's great features. My fiance and I always like to walk to our favorite bar, The Six Pence, from the Carriage House, which is only about a 10 minute walk. Whitefield Square and Clary's is right up the road as well. The Carriage House is always clean and Suzanne is always available if you have any issues. She also takes a lot of the work out of vacationing in Savannah for you with her very informative book of restaurants, attractions, and tips. We'll be back next year!
|I rented the Cottage for my small group of Girl Scouts from Mississippi, after waiting just a bit too late to book a hotel downtown. But lucky for me, it turned out to be a great decision! The girls had room to spread out and I know if we had been in a hotel room it would not have seemed so home away from home. Free breakfasts at the hotels cannot compare to room to move about, leaders could talk downstairs with the girls upstairs. Even had DVDs to watch--they loved "I Love Lucy!" Of course, for my Cadette aged girls, the free wi-fi was the best! The home was clean, well-stocked and location was right on target. Really, this could not have worked out more perfectly. Thank you!
|Our small Girl Scout troop of 5 Cadettes (teenagers) and 2 adults stayed in the Carriage House/Cottage and loved it. The girls liked having their own bedroom and bathroom - really the entire floor - upstairs and the leaders liked having their own bedroom and bath downstairs. We were there for four days and could walk everywhere in Savannah including the Birthplace, the River, Forsythe Park, etc. We ate most meals at home and enjoyed the ample kitchen and family room spaces to "hang out." So much better than having 2 hotel rooms and splitting up the girls. We had a great time in Savannah, primarily because we had a "home away from home."

| This was the perfect place for us. I had my 70 year old father and my 3 year old and your Carriage House/Cottage worked so well for all of us!
Thank you so very much! We will be back.
|Girl Scout Troop 2959 from Virginia had a great time visiting Savannah. It was a great trip to the Juliette Low Birthplace, shopping, and eating at Paula Deans. The Taylor Mansion was perfect for our group of 10 and the girls loved the hot tub! This was a wonderful time for our group since so many of our girls are graduating! Thanks for a weekend of wonderful memories as our girls head off to college.

|We usually cruise every year for our vacation, but this year our schedule just didn't allow it. We wanted to do something different for vacation before our daughter went back to college...so it was my job(Margie) to find us something and someplace we've never been.....
We stayed in the cottage and there was plenty of room for us all. We loved the fact it was so centrally located and we were able to walk to most our destinations. We loved Jones Street! Our daughter is already saving her money to buy a house there! Thank goodness she's a Bio/Chem-Pharmacy Major!
We loved the special details that you provided for us....like the Damask printed book with all the info about the grocery, restaurants and sightseeing (with personal notes written on most). The linens, pillows and beds are to die for!! Made it hard to leave in the mornings...but we had so much to see!
We originally were going to eat out once a day and grab a sandwich at the cottage for lunch! We enjoyed hanging out there so much (plus we were soooo tired) We actually only ate out one time, at the Pirate's House. We used the grill in the nice little court yard area in the evenings and grilled steak one night and burgers another. The kitchen is pretty awesome and well equipped too! =)
We will definitely be back! Savannah is our new favorite place! A nice mix between Key West and New Orleans and a WHOLE lot cleaner! =)
|This is such a quaint place to stay. Beautifully decorated and so incredibly comfortable. You have everything you need and you feel just like you're in your own home. Very quiet neighborhood so you can get your rest and relaxation in. All the necessities are here for you. Couldn't have stayed in a better place!
|We just stayed at the Taylor Manor, and had a wonderful time. There was 7 of us and we had plenty of room. The pictures of the home truly do not do justice for this home. Upon arrival and opening the front door we were overwhelmed with the beauty and cleanliness of this home. The youngest of the group a 18 year old absolutely loved the attic bedroom and TV area. She had her own little world. We will definitely be staying here again on our next adventure. Could not afford to stay here without other couples splitting the cost, but if we could we would stay here every time we visit Savannah. Loved the location and the quietness of the area. Took nightly walks and enjoyed the parks. The owner has taken great efforts to make your stay enjoyable with brochures and maps and suggestions. The marked map in the kitchen was a great help being marked with the closets grocery store. We cooked a full breakfast every morning and had everything we needed to cook with. If you are planning a trip to Savannah Ga. this is the place to stay, it felt like home from the moment we walked in.
Thank you to the owners for opening up your home to us so that we can enjoy your great city. Hope to see you soon as we are planning another trip already in Dec. or Jan. Loved your decor, you did a great job decorating the home with even the smallest touches.

| Pictures really do not do this beautiful Estate justice! Not just beautiful and convenient but...it holds an atmosphere of peace, joy, and fun.
We were a party of 13 who were able to spend time laughing in the spacious kitchen, preparing meals, relaxing in the courtyards (two of them, one for the Manor and the other for the Cottage).
But most importantly, the Estate gave us perfect sleep accomodations. Especially the first floor bedroom and bathroom in the Cottage which my 74 year old dad loved!
There is so much to tell about this Estate, it's only minutes from Tybee Island, and seconds from River Street and the gorgeous historic sites of Savannah.
You won't be disappointed. Thanks again Suzanne!!

|Such a lovely cottage, nicely decorated! We were very comfortable. Two adults downstairs, and 4 teenage girls upstairs--perfect set up. Easy walking distance to all of old Savannah. We'd stay there again.
A long adventurous drive down from Ohio brought us into a slice of heaven. Thanks for the hospitality!

|My girls scout troop just returned from beautiful Savannah Ga. We stayed at Taylor Manor and also used the cottage. We had 17 people in our group 10 girls and 7 moms. We had a lovely time at Taylor Manor the home is kept in pristine condition. The beds were very comfortable. The home is located withing walking distance to downtown savannah, we were able to make several trip a day without any problems. The beautiful home is equipped with all the furnishing one might need. From tv's for the girls, games, video tapes, great eating areas and even washers and dryers in both location. I cannot say enough about this beautiful historic home in Savannah Ga. I will certainly recommend it at our next Girl Scout event. Thank you so much for allowing us to share your home. The girls will have ever lasting memories of this fantasic trip. Thank You!

|Our Girl Scout Troop stayed in the Manor and Carriage House for 4 nights and 3 days in March. The girls in our troop made the decision early in our trip planning, that they wanted to stay in a historic home and not a hotel and I can say that I am so happy we did! The house was immaculate, and had the "cozy-home" feel at the same time. We enjoyed the comfort of the house so much that one of the nights the girls actually wanted to just order-in pizza and play board games together. They really loved hanging out in the 3rd floor attic bedroom. It was the official cool "hide-out" place. We also really enjoyed eating breakfast together outside in the courtyard and a couple nights we gathered together and cuddled in the living room and watched movies! The neighborhood was tucked away just enough from any noise but close enough to walk everywhere you wanted to go. We will definatley recommend our stay to other Girl Scout troops and our family and friends who make plans to visit the beautiful city of Savannah!

|Our group of 5 High School girlfriends stayed 3 nights at the Carriage House and it was perfect. It is conveniently located within walking distance of the Historic District in Savannah. It is simply charming and the decor and furnishings were wonderful. I would highly recommend a stay here for any group. Thanks Suzanne.
|This place is incredible! Clean as a whistle and absolutely charming. We LOVED the beds! It was just perfect for 5 gals..a weekend wasn't long enough, so we will be back! Can't wait. Thanks, Suzanne!
|Date of Stay: September 2009
My family chose this historic Savannah property for our annual vacation and it proved to be the perfect decision. A friend who accompanied us was wheelchair bound and the handicapped accommodations were seemlessly incorporated into the design of the property, providing a delightful yet practical solution. Suzanne was an excellent host and we will always cherish Savannah's historical charm and friendly, colorful characters.

|First-timers, but not last-timers. Business travel can be tough and the Carriage House was a wonderful alternative to a hotel - much more comfortable and own kitchen and laundry facilities were very helpful. You have a beautiful home - thank you so much for the use of it. We hope to see you again.
|We enjoyed our stay in your Carriage House. It's in a good location within walking distance of everything we wanted to see! We had a wonderful time. Thank you for your sweet, southern hospitality.

|We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in your Carriage House while in Savannah for our son's wedding. We felt very much at home with all the extras in the house. It was very quite and yet so close to everything. We will be back! Thank you for all the maps and suggestions.

|What a beautiful hide-a-way! The perfect place for a 50th honeymoon. Your southern hospitality and beautiful cottage has been terrific! Thanks for lovely days.
The Timmons Family
|We had a lovely time staying here. The close proximity to Forsyth Park was very useful for our 2 year-old. The child friendliness of the house was much appreciated. As for recommendations: Fort Pulaski was great value and Tybee Island and the Crab Shack were also a hit!
The Barons, Charlotte, NC
|Thank you for sharing your beautiful Carriage House with us! It was so nice and clean and comfortable for all of us. We had a fabulous time and enjoyed the beach and fireworks down on the riverfront. An excellent location and close proximity to both. We would love to come back and visit again!

We walked everywhere enjoying the spanish moss and beauty of Savannah's streets. We will definitely be back again.
